Huge portions and amazing bread sticks (which are complimentary). Service was great. Restaurant had a dark wood and individual hanging lights for seating. Definitely better than Olive Garden.

This place is a hidden gem next to the Walmart in Trussville, AL. We ate there on Sunday, 31 May 2026 for my sister’s 83rd birthday. The food and service were excellent. Our server, who has been there for over 19 years was simply amazing. My husband and I had lamb chops during the lunch meal and went back later and ordered takeout lamb chops for dinner. We have been back a few times for more lamb chops and other to go meals. I highly recommend this place for a wholesome homemade meal!

This was my first time here, but won’t be the last. My best friend and I ate here today on the way to the airport. Nancy was our waitress and she is outstanding. She was very attentive and has a great personality. The food was excellent. The restaurant was very nice, but needed the air conditioning turned down. It was warm, that’s the only reason I gave atmosphere a 4. I did let the owner know. Make sure you go, and ask for Nancy.

I've eaten here on several occasions but never left a review until now. Shameful. I visited here because I wanted to try their pastichio, only to discover it's no longer on the menu. My server, who was super friendly and helpful, stated that the Hoover location still serves it but due to the lengthy process it takes to make it, this location does not offer it anymore. While I was disappointed to find this out, my food made up for it. At my server's suggestion, I ordered the baked ziti lunch special for $10.95. The special came with salad and a breadstick and a healthy serving of baked ziti. I wanted Greek dressing with my salad, but quickly realized that that was not the right choice. It looked more like balsamic vinaigrette and was very tart. I usually eat Greek dressing when dining out but maybe theirs is.....very unique. Maybe I received the wrong dressing. All I know is I couldn't finish my salad because of it. The breadstick was warm and comforting and the baked ziti was very rich and cheesy. It was a delicious and robust choice that didn't break the bank and helped to ease my disappointment on missing out on the pastichio. The server (who kept saying she had been there for 18
